N.J. voters 50 and older give Murphy 25-point lead over Ciattarelli, new poll shows

Gov. Phil Murphy has a significant lead among voters age 50 and older in New Jersey against GOP rival Jack Ciattarelli in November’s election, a new poll released Wednesday showed. The Democratic incumbent leads the Republican 25 percentage points, according to the Fairleigh Dickinson University poll conducted in partnership with AARP. Fifty-six percent of 50-plus registered voters said they will back Murphy compared to only 31% who support Ciattarelli.
