Greens and liberals in more talks as kingmakers after German election

Conscious of their role as probable kingmakers in forming a new German governing coalition, the Greens and the pro-business Free Democratic Party (FDP) entered a second round of bilateral talks on Friday. The so-called “pre-exploratory” coalition talks are aimed at finding common ground between the two parties that came third and fourth in Sunday’s elections.
